I want to thank the voters for electing me to serve as your next State Senator.  I am truly honored and deeply humbled by your support.  As your next Senator, I will work every day to ensure a better future for us, our families, and our businesses.  I will be your voice for making a difference in Minnesota.

I want to thank my campaign committee, volunteers, and my family for giving so much of their time and talent to making this election season a great success.  The dedication and commitment to my success was overwhelming. When this campaign started, we focused on three words: Progress, Prosperity, and Pride. Progress: Putting Minnesotans back to work.  Prosperity: Prosper through the investment of time, knowledge, and capital.  Pride: Pride in ourselves and in our successes.  I will continue to focus on those priorities as I represent you at the Capitol. 

Finally, I want to thank Senator Saltzman for her four years of service to Senate District 56.

Rest assured, I understand the seriousness of what lies ahead.  When I take the oath of office, Minnesota will be faced with a six billion dollar deficit.  As a small business owner, I am ready to use my experience to ask tough questions and make the difficult decisions.  I also have faith in the strength of Minnesota?s citizenry. Working together, we can make this great state an even better place to live, learn, and work.
